Where Will I Be Able to Work?
As a graduate, you will be prepared for entry-level accounting clerk or bookkeeping positions in areas such as payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, tax, and general bookkeeping in all types of companies, including in the fields of business, marketing, customer service, sales, and advertising.
What Skills Will I Develop?
As a graduate, you will have learned to analyze and classify financial data, journalize and post transactions, and prepare financial statements. You will also be able to identify and communicate discrepancies or inconsistencies that may harm a business and learn to communicate valued information to help a business succeed. Graduates are competent in applications including QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Excel.
Graduates will receive their Associate of Science Degree in Accounting, and are prepared to sit for several professional certifications offered by the National Bookkeepers Association (NBA), including:
